Our Story
1969
P&D Oxford House of Pizza opens its doors on Main Street. Back then, people still rode horses down Main Street and hitched them to our fence.
1981
Fred Efstathiou purchases the business, bringing Greek heritage and family recipes that become Oxford favorites. Everything made in-house: sauces, meatballs, roast beef — from day one.
2003
Ted Efstathiou, Fred's son, becomes owner. He continues the family tradition while adding his own touch — naming menu items after loyal customers. The Flynnie honors Patrick Flynn. The Undertaker celebrates Bryan Givner.
Today
Three generations strong. Fred still works at P&D doing prep. Ted's mother's baklava recipe is made fresh in-house — the only dessert on the menu. We fundraise for Oxford High School, Boy Scouts, and Oxford Police Department's Operation Santa.
"You get to know their children and grandchildren. They become like family. The community needs our help. I do it because I want to."
— Ted Efstathiou, Owner
